Creative Hub in East London

Located at 3-4 East Park Walk, The Lab E20 is East Village’s new flagship for experiential retail, cultural exhibition and creative workspace, with a focus on positive fashion and sustainable living.

Designed by Christopher Raeburn, founder of RÆBURN, the 3,500sq ft and double-heighted space in Stratford plays host to events and experiences with various cultural partners for residents and wider community.

New for 2023, ‘Regenerative by Design’ is a cultural programme produced by RAEBURN and supported by Get Living celebrating London’s cultural innovation across Climate Action, Low Carbon Living and the Circular Economy.

CURRENT PROGRAMME

THE FUTURE OF FASHION: IMAGINING POSSIBILITES
The Lab E20’s latest exhibition The Future of Fashion: Imagining Possibilities has been curated by RÆBURN in partnership with the Centre for Sustainable Fashion, London College of Fashion, UAL to document the local and global impact of regenerative design – from the garments we wear, to the ways in which we shape our cities and our communities. This rolling exhibition (October 2023 to October 2024) is open to the public.

PRINT WORKSHOP ‘SYMBOL STORIES’
Join Ellen Rock Studio at The Lab E20 for an evening of printing, community and creativity. Guided by Ellen Rock and her studio team; this 2 hour workshop will invite you to design and make your own print in a symbol of your own exploration using guided exercises. The workshop will guide you through mindful mark-making, collaging and teach you how to create your own print.

We invite you to relax and take a rest or join us in conversation on social design as we create in a circular process centering inclusivity and vibrant community. Materials all included and no previous experience needed.

ELLEN ROCK is a print artist and designer based in London. Ellen uses her painterly prints to create a language of symbolism, opening universal dialogue and using her work as an enabler for positive global change.

RÆBURN ARCHIVE SALE WEEKENDER | FRI 1 NOV 14:00-19:00 & SAT 2 NOV 11:00-18:00
Following the recent RÆBURN 15 RETROSPECTIVE, RÆBURN is hosting an Archive Sale weekender at The Lab E20 in Stratford. The Sale includes all manner of RÆBURN items that have been collected over the last fifteen years in business. Expect to see a wide range of RÆBURN and collaboration garments, footwear and accessories; rare one-off pieces that span RÆBURN’s historic collections as well as seasonal development samples and totally one-off pieces.
Alongside RÆBURN items, there will be a host military and utility artefacts like parachute canopies, storage boxes, survival equipment, tools, books, fabrics and assorted paraphernalia. We recommend bringing your own bags to accommodate any purchases; let’s reduce waste wherever possible.

ARTISTS APPROACH PROJECT
Funded by the Arts Council, this project brings together young music mentees with professional artists over an eight-month period to develop their creativity, compose new music together and prepare for regular performances. For more information email: pam.hulme@livingsong.org.

STRATFORD EAST SINGERS

PAINT MISBEHAVIN’ ECO ART CLUB
A monthly process art club for kids, inspired by nature and sustainably. Join artist Christina Rose Brown to create, make and play with a range of natural, recycled and art materials with a different project each session. Suitable for children aged 3+. Adults must accompany children at all times. £12 per child, book your eco art club tickets.

YOU CAN KNIT WITH US
A monthly knitting club to help you to pick up the basics and follow the knit pattern provided. Already know what you’re doing? Feel free to bring your existing projects. All materials provided but please bring your own needles if you want to take your creation home. Secure your space for the free knitting class.
